Although after graduating he opted for a technical path in electricity, after reaching a maximum level of technical coordination, decided to make a career turn and "attack" the commercial part. Taking advantage of the implementation of the new structure of the Romanian electricity market, he dedicate himself to the implementation of a market mechanism for balancing production with consumption and launch the "balancing market". After a successful implementation he passed in the private sector where he developed himself both personally and professionally. During his career he had the opportunity to work in both state and private sector, to represent the companies and the country on numerous international working groups and to contribute to the implementation of a fair electricity market in Romania. Since 2009 he is leading the activity of the GEN-I group in Romania and in 2021 was elected president of Romanian Energy Supplier Association AFEER.

Radu Dudău

Radu Dudău is President and co-founder of EPG. He was, from 2007 to 2023, an Associate Professor at the Bucharest University. From 2006 to 2010 he was Deputy Director at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). He graduated in Physics and Philosophy from the University of Iași. He holds a Dr. Phil. degree in Philosophy (magna cum laude) from Konstanz University (Germany) and a PhD in Political Science (International Relations) (summa cum laude) from the National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA, Bucharest). He was a Fulbright Fellow with the National Security Program at Harvard Kennedy School of Government (2011), a New Europe College Fellow at the Danish Institute of International Relations (Copenhagen, 2006) and an OSI/FCO-Chevening scholar at Oxford University (1999-2000). His work focuses on energy policy, energy technology, and energy markets.

He has a degree in Engineering and Project Management, as well as relevant training in battery systems on grid integration. Mihaela Mihailescu is the Deputy Head for Romania at EBRD, based in Bucharest. Prior to this, Mihaela was coordinating the EBRD’s private sector related portfolio in Romania. Mihaela joined the EBRD in 2008 as a Senior Analyst in Bucharest, responsible with originating and executing transactions in the private sector (General Industry and Natural Resources) in the country. Mihaela holds a MBA in International Finance from Brandeis International Business School and is ACCA certified.

Paweł Czaus has nearly 20 years of experience as a manager, consultant and senior executive. He used to advise to leading entities in the energy, finance, insurance and telecommunications sectors. He was a co-founder and Member of the Management Board for Operations in Foton Technik (currently E.ON Foton). Previously, he worked for the Boston Consulting Group, Kinnevik/Tele2 Group, Rocket Internet/Westwing and Netia.
