Teodora Tompea is a seasoned veteran in the television industry, with a record of nearly two decades. Currently, she is one of the main anchors for Digi24 - one of the most important TV news station from Romania, covering a range of topics daily. In addition, she also produces the only climate change TV show in Romania and is a presenter of Focus Europe, as well as is an active entrepreneur, brand ambassador and business owner. She has a PhD in Sociology from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University.

Georg co-founded Photon Energy in 2008 and was the company’s CFO until 2011. Since then he has spearheaded the group’s expansion in Europe and overseas as CEO. Georg has extensive knowledge of the solar energy industry as well as in international finance. Before Photon Energy, Georg established a finance and strategy advisory boutique focused on the CEE region and previously held various positions in financial services in London, Zurich and Prague.

Filip Sypko is the Head of Global Business Development at Green Genius - a renewable energy company developing solar and biogas projects across 6 European markets. For years, as entrepreneur and manager he has been associated with the energy and renewable energy industry with various experiences in sales, technical consulting and business development. Filip is a graduate of the Faculty of Energy and Fuels at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, MBA studies at Koźmiński Executive Business School in Warsaw and Technische Universität Clausthal in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

Mihaela Mihailescu is the Deputy Head for Romania at EBRD, based in Bucharest. Prior to this, Mihaela was coordinating the EBRD’s private sector related portfolio in Romania. Mihaela joined the EBRD in 2008 as a Senior Analyst in Bucharest, responsible with originating and executing transactions in the private sector (General Industry and Natural Resources) in the country. Mihaela holds a MBA in International Finance from Brandeis International Business School and is ACCA certified.

Lavinia Iancu has an experience of over 20 years in business management and has attended in-depth management courses. She is licensed in the field of Industrial Engineering, Welding Technology and Equipment specialization, and in Psychology. She is currently Co-Founder and CEO of Industry Media Vector and coordinates the newsroom team of Energy Industry Review publication, having a rich experience as energy business analyst. She has been involved in the organization of events dedicated to the energy industry for over 17 years.

Andreea is currently Financial Director within Nofar Energy, part of an international group companies specialized in the field of energy production from renewable sources. Among other projects, Nofar is building the largest solar project in Romania, with a capacity of 154MW. Andreea has over 18 years of experience in important credit institutions in Romania, in project financing and syndication in the energy, industry and real estate sectors.

With over 16 years of experience as a business lawyer, Oana is one of the most experienced practitioners in energy & natural resources and related regulatory matters and in mergers & acquisitions of Romania. In particular, she is renowned for successfully handling some of the most challenging and complex regulatory and compliance development projects and for her substantial contribution to the drafting of legislation regulating a broad range of industries and areas. Oana routinely advises clients on the most difficult and strategic matters involving C-Suite decision making and is recognized by clients and peers for the successful execution and implementation of the provided advice. She also advises on all aspects of ESG requirements and related law. Oana has gained broad expertise assisting clients on an array of green and brown field projects and advising foreign and local investors, supporting them from planning throughout the entire operational business and undertaking complex issues related to business development and investment in Romania.

Ciprian, a former Energy Partner of one of the largest and most reputable business law firms in Central and South Eastern Europe region, is also the President of the Romanian Photovoltaic Industry Association (www.rpia.ro) and has extensive experience in real estate and energy (renewable energy, oil & gas) matters. Ciprian was also advising the legendary football player, Gheorghe Hagi with some operations and regulatory matters related to the football club, Viitorul.

Florian is the co-founder of Kraftfeld, focusing on project development and legal matters. He started his career advising international energy companies on their expansion in CEE and built up his expertise in renewable energy while working at an energy investment firm. Florian holds a master's degree in Law from the University of Vienna and a master's degree in Information Technology for Business from the Vienna University of Technology.

László Szabó is the Country Manager RO of Electron Holding. As member of an integrated energy company team, he is responsible for the identification and development of solar, wind, storage and green hydrogen projects in Romania. Over the years, he has accumulated experience in engineering, business and brand development in software, garment manufacturing and renewable energy. He started the SUNERGIZER solar heater brand in 2009. During the PV investment boom of the early 2010s in Romania, he was active as broker, took part in project development, commissioning, and the sale of produced energy and of green certificates. Laszlo is graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics at the A.I. Cuza University in Iasi, Business Management studies at VNO NCW – De Baak Netherlands.

Vítor is currently the Technical director utility Europe of LONGi Solar since 2020. He has spent 14 years at TÜV Rheinland and brings extensive PV know-how in different areas including auditing and inspecting factories and installations in Europe, Asia, and South America, supervising construction and evaluating performance, as well as undertaking safety inspections and performance enhancement of PV plants worldwide.

The Romanian entrepreneur Corneliu Bodea is a shareholder of the international ABBC Group and CEO of Adrem. A brand with 30 years of history on the Romanian market, Adrem consists of companies active in the energy industry. Corneliu extended his engineering education with management studies and an MBA from the Open University, UK, and most recently with the Board Directors’ Programme at Henley Business School. Since 2014, Corneliu Bodea was elected President of the Romanian Energy Center (CRE), a non-governmental organization which activates in the energy industry, effective both in Romania and Brussels. CRE represents the interests of the main stakeholders on the Romanian energy market and facilitates communication with their corresponding European interlocutors, while also providing a European platform for dialogue for the energy industry. With significant experience in the energy industry, in managing complex projects and over 1500 employees, Corneliu is very committed to contributing to all initiatives that foster the Romanian entrepreneurial environment and to actively supporting economic, environmental and social sustainability. He believes it is our responsibility, as companies and individuals, to engage in activities without exhausting the available resources and affecting the environment, thus ensuring that the needs of future generations are being met.

Evangelos Makrygiannis holds a BSc in Physics (AUTh), a Master’s in Applied and Engineering Physics (TU München and a Master’s in Business Administration (AUEB). He started working in research projects in 2014 and his main focus was nanomaterials applications and energy storage devices (WSI Munich, NCSR Demokritos Athens). Evangelos joined JinkoSolar in 2022 and he is currently working as a Technical Engineer in EU.

She took over the position of general director of E.ON Energie Romania starting on 1st of May 2021, with full responsibility for the Customer Solutions segment, both B2C and B2B areas. At the same time, Claudia also fulfills the role of a member of the E.ON Romania Board. Claudia Griech has been working for E.ON company since 2005, having management roles in the marketing and sales area. From these positions she successfully coordinated the transformation of the B2C segment from the status of an energy supplier to an energy solutions provider. She graduated from "Babeş-Bolyai" University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Faculty of Applied Modern Languages.

Niculae Havrilet is a Romanian energy expert who has served as the President of the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) from 2012 to 2019. ANRE is the national regulatory body in Romania responsible for regulating the activities of companies operating in the electricity, gas, and heat sectors. During his tenure as the President of ANRE, Havrilet played a key role in implementing energy market reforms, promoting competition and transparency in the energy sector, and ensuring the security of energy supply in Romania. He was also actively involved in promoting renewable energy development and supporting the integration of renewable energy sources into the national grid. Prior to his appointment as ANRE President, Havrilet worked for several years in the energy sector in Romania and held various positions in government and private industry. He holds a PhD in Energy Economics and is widely recognized as an expert in energy policy and regulation in Romania and the wider European region

Mihai is a Project Manager, licensed in Law, with extensive experience over 10 years in the energy sector. Currently, as a Project Manager within BayWa r.e., Mihai is leading several large-scale projects of over 1+GW. Prior to joining BayWa r.e. he was successfully developing renewable energy projects, supporting the growth and development of a pipeline of over 100 MWp in the Romanian market.

Paweł Czaus has nearly 20 years of experience as a manager, consultant and senior executive. He used to advise to leading entities in the energy, finance, insurance and telecommunications sectors. He implemented projects in Poland, Hungary, Sweden, Germany, Latvia, Romania, and Portugal. In 2015, he started working on renewable energy projects. He was a co-founder and Member of the Management Board for Operations in Foton Technik (currently E.ON Foton). Previously, he worked for the Boston Consulting Group, Kinnevik/Tele2 Group, Rocket Internet/Westwing and Netia.

Sebastian Mihai Staicu is currently heading the Sustainable Finance development team in BCR with over 10 years in BCR mainly covering Renewable Energy and Waste project and leveraged financing and the energy market competence center. Sebastian holds a Master in European Studies at Vienna University.

Nicola Kopij Zanin is a Managing Director for Solarplaza Consultancy. Prior to joining Solarplaza, he gained experience with EU development financing, having set up his own organization. In the past, he held positions in different industries across Italy, Poland and the UAE. Nicola holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Business from LUISS University in Rome and a Master's degree in Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
