Tamás is an experienced energy industry professional currently serving as a Senior Expert in Energy Economics at Robert Bosch. With expertise in industrial load management, energy contract negotiation, and energy tradinh, he is the lead expert in energy strategy for Robert Bosch in CEE region. He actively contributes to high-level industry discussions, sharing insights on how companies can transform volatile energy dynamics and sustainability requirements into strategic business advantages.

With over 20 years of experience in the solar and energy storage sectors, John boasts a remarkable track record of success. He's expertly built high-performing sales and marketing teams while consistently identifying, developing, and realizing new business opportunities across the globe. His extensive background includes pivotal leadership roles such as EVP of Global Sales and Service at SMA, a leading Germany-based solar inverter supplier, and CSO of Ideematec Trackers, a prominent Germany-based solar tracker supplier. John also served as the Managing Director for Trina Solar Australia and New Zealand, a leading China-based solar module manufacturer, further solidifying his deep expertise in the global solar landscape.

Sjaak Voogd is Director Energy Sales C&I at Prologis, where he leads strategies and partnerships in commercial and industrial energy solutions. With a rich background spanning marketing, communications, product management and project management in B2B and B2C environments - from EV‑charging and battery storage to smart grid and load balancing initiatives - Sjaak brings a uniquely broad perspective to the energy transition.

Bálint Frang is Head of Business Development and Operations at E.ON Hungary, responsible for the strategic development of the company’s energy generation portfolio. With more than a decade of experience in the energy sector, his background includes energy strategy, flexibility, new business models and operational improvement. Prior to joining E.ON, he led strategy on the retail side of MVM, with further experience in business transformation, M&A and operating model development. He holds an Executive MBA from Maastricht University.

Péter Kósa is an energy industry professional with a background in nuclear engineering, energy consulting and renewable energy. He is currently Managing Director at Voltrack, a Hungarian energy company active in renewable energy, biogas, electricity markets and flexibility solutions. He began his career in the nuclear energy sector, working on reactor engineering and nuclear safety-related projects, before joining KPMG, where he focused on energy-sector advisory and financial modelling. Since then, his work has shifted towards the development and operation of renewable and flexible energy assets, including biogas plants, solar PV, electric boilers, battery storage and aggregation. At Voltrack, Péter focuses on the intersection of energy infrastructure, investment and electricity markets, with a particular interest in how flexible assets can create value in an increasingly renewable and weather-dependent power system. His interest in this challenge has a somewhat unusual origin. As a young nuclear energy professional, Péter also led the Young Generation for Nuclear Energy section of the Hungarian Nuclear Society, where discussions about the limited flexibility and controllability of nuclear power were a recurring theme. Today, he approaches the same fundamental question from a different perspective: how can a power system with increasing amounts of variable renewable generation obtain the flexibility it needs — and turn that need into viable business models?

Ms. Szolnoki has broad academic, business and regulatory experience regarding the CEE energy sector. She graduated as a macroanalyst at Budapest Corvinus University and began her career at the university-based research centre, REKK (Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research), where she spent eight years leading Hungarian and regional projects. Later she worked as business development expert at major Hungarian energy companies (HUPX-CEEGEX, MVM). At Navitasoft, she worked on energy market digitalisation projects delivered in the CEE region (Ukraine, Croatia, Baltic States). Recently, she led the market monitoring unit at the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority. At Zero Carbon Hub, Ms. Szolnoki leads several initiatives focused on the decarbonization of Hungary’s energy sector. She works in close collaboration with major Hungarian industrial partners, such as MVM, on research and development projects focused on energy storage. As part of ZKK’s efforts, they have also developed an energy storage valuation model to support investment decision-making within the Hungarian energy system. In 2017 Ms. Szolnoki won ERRA’s international prize, the Regulatory Research Award.

Laszlo Modos is an experienced leader in the energy and finance sectors, currently serving as the Country Manager for Renalfa Hungary Kft since 2020, while also overseeing development on a group level. In 2023, he co-founded Movasol Energy and Movasol Operations, where he continues to lead alongside his role at Renalfa. With a strong background in finance, Laszlo's career includes serving as Deputy CEO of MAVIR Zrt from January 2018 to December 2019, where he was responsible for Finance and IT. Prior to that, he held various senior finance roles at MAVIR Zrt, including Chief Financial Officer (2015-2017) and Head of Finance (2012-2015). Before joining MAVIR Zrt, Laszlo gained significant experience in corporate and project finance, working at Raiffeisen Bank from 2003 to 2012, where he progressed from Relationship Manager to Branch Manager, overseeing corporate finance, project finance, and retail banking operations. His expertise in both finance and energy development positions him as a key figure in Hungary's energy and financial sectors.

Eszter Nagy is the Chief Financing Officer of Electron Holding, where she has been responsible for developing and implementing the company’s financing strategy, as well as leading the financing team, since February 2026. She brings more than twenty years of banking experience gained at K&H Bank across various areas of corporate finance. Throughout her career, she has played a key role in structured and project financing, most recently as the head of these activities. She was instrumental in establishing and successfully building the bank’s renewable energy financing business. During her professional career, she has contributed to the execution of numerous complex, large-scale financing transactions, particularly in the infrastructure and energy sectors, while also gaining extensive experience in acquisition financing. As Chair of the Financing Committee of the Hungarian Renewable Energy Association and an active member of the Women in Energy community, she is committed to fostering industry collaboration and strengthening professional dialogue. With a comprehensive understanding of both banking decision-making processes and the market dynamics of energy projects, she brings valuable insights to professional discussions on current challenges and developments in the financing environment.

‎Emőke Gáspár has been involved in the financing of large-scale energy projects since the early 2000s and currently serves as Head of the Special Project Finance Department at OTP Bank Plc. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience across a broad spectrum of energy financing transactions, ranging from the refurbishment of large gas-fired power plants operating under long-term offtake arrangements (HTMs), through the financing of gas engine power plants, to projects utilizing renewable energy sources (PV, wind and hydro). Within the OTP Group, the department under her leadership is responsible for originating, structuring, and overseeing some of OTP Group’s largest energy generation financing transactions on a group-wide basis. Today, these activities are primarily focused on projects involving solar and wind power generation, as well as energy storage solutions supporting the efficient utilization of renewable energy production.

Amila Colakhodzic is a senior executive with 23+ years of international experience across infrastructure and renewable energy sectors including senior roles at PORR, GE, Emeren, T1 Energy (formerly FREYR Battery) and now Kommunalkredit. She has a strong track record in originating, structuring and executing complex financing transactions across Europe and international markets. She is experienced in advising and supporting sponsors, developers, corporates and institutional stakeholders across renewable energy, battery storage, infrastructure and decarbonization-related sectors. Her expertise spans project finance, acquisition financing, structured lending, export finance and strategic advisory. Currently, she focuses on origination and client coverage within the energy transition sector, driving long-term strategic relationships and delivering tailored financing solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Péter Horváth is CEO of Dunamenti Power Plant since July 2018, formerly Deputy CEO (from 2015). Business Development Manager of MET Power Hungary since 2014. Worked as the wholesale director of MET Magyarország between 2012 and 2014. Formerly employed at the natural-gas branch of MOL in the area of portfolio and business development.

Drawing on international project experience in the renewable energy sector since 2015, Thomas drives the adoption of intelligent technical solutions to accelerate the energy transition. He leverages a strong background in asset management and regional business development across Central and Eastern Europe to lead sales strategies for advanced embedded control systems. Focusing on seamless hardware and software integration, he empowers clients to maximize the performance, monitoring, and grid compliance of their solar and storage assets. By prioritizing long-term customer success, he ensures that developers and operators can efficiently scale their clean energy portfolios.

Sándor Végh, currently head of Structured Finance at Erste Bank Hungary Zrt. (EBH). Earlier he worked for BayernLB Group (MKB Bank, Hungary) in different manager positions. Sándor has 25+ years of experience in the banking sector, especially in the fields of project and structured finance as well as corporate finance. Sándor graduated in Finance at Corvinus University Budapest and holds a postgraduate degree in law (ELTE Budapest).

Louiza is a Research Senior Associate at Aurora Energy Research, Southeastern Europe, where she leads the flexible energy markets activities across the SEE region. Since August 2023, she has been analyzing market dynamics and trends in Greece, Romania and Hungary, with a focus on battery economics and balancing markets. Before joining Aurora in April 2023, she spent four years at the Greek Transmission System Operator (IPTO), specializing in market operations and balancing markets. She holds an MEng in Chemical Engineering and a Master in Energy Systems.

Gábor Makai is Head of the Project Finance Team at Raiffeisen Bank Hungary, where he has spent more than two decades financing complex investment projects across a wide range of sectors. He leads a team responsible for structuring and managing project finance transactions in renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and greenfield developments. Throughout his career, Gábor has built extensive expertise in project finance, credit structuring, and investment banking, overseeing significant loan portfolios and supporting the growth of major projects across Hungary.

Bálint Vass is Head of Power Trading at MET Group, where he leads power trading activities across European energy markets. With more than a decade of experience spanning power and gas trading, market optimization, risk management, and energy structuring, he has played a key role in developing cross-border trading strategies and renewable energy power purchase agreements. Before joining MET Group, Bálint held energy trading and portfolio management roles at E.ON and worked as a consultant in the Energy & Utilities practice at PwC. His deep expertise in European power markets and renewable energy commercialization makes him a valuable voice on market dynamics, trading strategies, and integrating renewable energy into modern energy systems.

Krisztián is an energy economist with more than 10 years of experience in the energy markets. Started his career close to wholesale energy trading at the clearinghouse, KELER CCP, then worked as a representative of the Hungarian Power Exchange (HUPX), and then at an OTC trading platform, enmacc; he has a good understanding of the standard and non-standard power product spectrum. After the wholesale world, he worked as a Renewables Originator at ABO Energy for Hungary and Poland, and then left the sell-side to join MVM Group, where he helped shape the commercialization of the group's renewable portfolio. He joined the buy side 3 years ago and, as Regional Energy Manager at Linde, currently oversees a portfolio of nearly 100 MW of power consumption across 16 countries with significant renewable energy demand.

Csaba Polgár is one of the founding partners of Pontes Budapest. He leads the energy, infrastructure and project finance and arbitration groups in the Budapest office. His main areas are renewable project developments, acquisitions, divestments and financings, with special emphasis on solar projects. He also has substantial experiences in loan restructurings, NPL acquisitions and insolvency matters. Before establishing Pontes Budapest, Csaba spent more than seven years with Allen & Overy’s Budapest and London Offices working on energy matters and cross border M&A deals

Ákos is a renewable energy professional with more than 15 years of experience across the energy sector in Central and Eastern Europe. Throughout his career, he has worked in project development, energy trading, power markets, and corporate power purchase agreements (PPAs), supporting the growth of renewable energy investments and market-based decarbonization solutions. Most recently, Ákos has been involved in pioneering PPA transactions and strategic renewable energy initiatives across Hungary and the wider CEE region, with a particular focus on solar, battery storage, and hybrid projects.

Jan Willem has over 20 years of experience in the energy market and worked for some of the larger utilities. Early 2020, Jan Willem sold his previous companies Greenspread and Greencrowd to private equity concern NPM Capital. Since his departure in October 2020, Jan Willem works as an independent consultant at Stratergy. Stratergy advises funds, banks, utilities, and large consumers and producers of energy and specializes in maximizing asset value and minimizing financial risk.
