Agustín Seseña Carrillo is a Madrid-based energy professional with over a decade of experience in power markets, structured products, and renewable energy investment. He combines an engineering background with deep financial expertise, he has built a career at the intersection of energy market analysis, commercial strategy, and the energy transition. Agustín began his career as a Process Engineer at ISOLUX CORSAN, working on bids for thermal and combined cycle plants. He then joined Enérgya-VM, where he spent six years in a variety of roles, most notably as Head of Structured Products, where he pioneered participation in Ancillary Services with renewable assets in Spain. From 2023 to 2026, Agustín worked as Senior Power Markets Analyst at Renewable Power Capital, supporting the firm's European BESS, Wind and Solar portfolio. He now serves as Regional Manager for Iberia at Capalo AI. Agustín holds a degree in Energy Resources Engineering from the Escuela de Minas y Energía at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and an Executive Master in Quantitative Finance from Afi Global Education.

Ricardo has a degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. His professional experience started in the water heating and climatization fields, sizing projects for domestic and industrial usage. Later, he worked in innovative storage and flexibility projects, while conducting a pioneer case-study to evaluate the potential of the vehicle-to-grid technology. In 2022, he joined the Portuguese Renewable Energy Association (APREN) as a renewable energy policy and market intelligence analyst, where he has been developing work in the renewable energy sector, advising members and stakeholders, and following the lates policy updates, with main focus on green hydrogen, offshore wind, storage. the electricity market design, among others.

Tomás García is the lead Senior Director of the Energy & Infrastructure Advisory practice in Spain & Portugal at JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) since April 2020. In this role, he leads the team providing transactional and financial advisory services for renewable energy assets in Iberia. Prior to this, Tomás was the Managing Director of the Solar & Wind Projects business in Spain & Portugal at BayWa r.e. (2019). Prior to this role, he was the Head of Business Development EMEA, Energy Group at Canadian Solar (2017-2018). Before that he served at SunEdison as General Manager, Rural Electrification EMEA (2014-2015) and as Head of Strategy & Market Development EMEA & LATAM (2011-2014). Before that Tomás was Market Strategy Manager at First Solar (2008-2011) and a Strategy Consultant at the Monitor Group (2004-2008). Additionally, he has also worked as a Venture Capitalist, Research Scientist (doing science on solar PV materials), University Teacher and FX Trader. Tomás was a PhD student at Florida International University, earned his MSci at King’s College London and his Masters degree in Physics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He is fluent in Spanish and English and functional in Italian.

Rosemary is a Lead Consultant at Clean Horizon with a strong technical and analytical background in the energy storage sector. Her expertise focuses on the profitability assessment of storage projects and conducting in-depth market analyses across various European countries. She specializes in dimensioning energy storage projects using optimization models to dispatch assets effectively on energy and ancillary services markets. Rosemary holds an engineering degree from Institut d'Optique Graduate School and a Master of Science in physics from Imperial College London, combining her academic foundation in science and engineering with practical commercial and regulatory insights to support project developers and investors.

Isaac Garcia Moreno is an Executive Director at BW ESS, the global energy storage owner-operator. Isaac is responsible for sourcing and developing new investment opportunities in grid-scale energy storage. He was previously Head of Solar and Storage at OX2 and Regional Managing Director at Alten Renewable Energy, bringing extensive experience across renewable energy development, investment, and market growth.

Starting his career at the National Dispatch for the Portuguese Electric System in 1990, Berto has spent over three decades navigating the complexities of the Iberian electricity market. He played a foundational role during the region's energy liberalization, helping to build the initial trading and energy management frameworks from the ground up. Today, he leads a team responsible for the real-time optimization of a massive renewable generation portfolio across Europe. His daily focus revolves around short-term planning, outage coordination, and crafting precise bidding strategies for both energy and ancillary services. With a deep understanding of grid operations and market dynamics, Berto ensures that large-scale clean energy assets operate efficiently and profitably alongside national transmission operators.

Eurico is a Project Manager for Energy Storage at Galp, with more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, spanning downstream refining, innovation, and the development of projects that have successfully evolved into business ventures. Over the past six years, he has focused on utility-scale energy storage and flexibility technologies. Throughout his career, Eurico has led and contributed to a variety of innovation initiatives aimed at improving energy efficiency, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.

Ignacio Guerra leads Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Business Development in Europe for Lightsource bp, driving the growth of one of the region's most critical technologies for the energy transition. With over 15 years of experience spanning renewable energy development, project finance, regulation, and strategic consulting, he has contributed to the development and acquisition of more than 5 GW of energy projects internationally. His work focuses on transforming market opportunities into large-scale energy storage investments that support grid reliability, renewable integration, and the decarbonization of Europe's power sector.

Música Pinto is an Application Engineer at Greenvolt Power, supporting the development and execution of utility-scale BESS projects across multiple international markets. His work focuses on technical due diligence, technology selection, contract negotiations and project execution, bringing large-scale storage assets from concept to operation, including, approximately, 4GWh in Storage Projects throughout Europe, Japan and USA

José Vieira is an electrical engineer with more than 12 years of experience in the energy sector, specialising in power systems and renewable energy. His professional background spans electrical grid operations, photovoltaic plant monitoring and renewable asset management. He is currently Power Plant Manager at Akuo, where he oversees the technical and commercial operation of utility-scale solar assets in Portugal, including a 220MWh BESS currently under construction.

Samuel Ferreira is a Business Developer Manager with more than 20 years of experience across telecommunications and digital energy systems. His background provides a unique perspective on the digitalization of energy, particularly in the integration of battery storage technologies. He currently focuses on the development of utility-scale Battery energy storage systems, working on new business models that enable grid flexibility, renewable integration and energy market optimization.

Kim specialises in transaction support as an independent market and economic advisor for major power project developers, financiers, and fuel suppliers. In total, he has supported the successful completion of 72GW of conventional and renewable power projects and 726MIGD of water desalination projects with a transaction value of USD44 billion over the past 23 years, including 15GW in Spain since 2018. Filipa Mendonça is a Project Manager at Hyperion Renewables, a Lisbon-based IPP. Since 2018 she has developed and permitted over 200 MW of solar PV and more than 690 MW of grid connection infrastructure in Portugal. She now leads the construction phase of Hyperion's battery storage programme — co- located BESS at the Cavaleira (52 MWp / 40 MWh) and Évora (28 MWp / 24 MWh) solar plants — managing the supply, EPC and long-term service agreements and the contractual interfaces between the battery, power conversion, EMS and balance-of-plant scopes, from contracting through commissioning to hand-over to asset management.

Ariana Figueiredo Martins is Storage Business Development Manager at Capwatt, where she manages the development of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) business across different geographies. Her work focuses on driving the growth and deployment of storage solutions.
