Utility-scale and C&I solar and storage systems are reaching the end of their first life, and current decommissioning practices are insufficient to manage this massive influx of assets profitably. The market now demands rigorous economic systems thinking. As new waste policies take effect, the critical factor in protecting long-term project yield is ensuring high-purity material recovery across PV, BESS, and BOS.
