Gerard Reid is a Co-founder and Partner at Alexa Capital, an independent financial services business committed to mobilizing capital towards achieving net-zero. He is also a Fellow at the Institute of the Environment at the University of Minnesota and a member of the Global Future Council on Advanced Energy Technologies at the World Economic Forum. Gerard has developed a strong reputation as a leading global expert in the energy and mobility space. A trusted authority on the energy transition, he is a published author and avid blogger, with a following of more than 200k across several platforms. He is also the co-host of “REDEFINING ENERGY” podcast, the leading energy podcast in Europe. He is focused on empowering and accelerating change by advising organizations, industry leaders and global decision-makers (business, finance and government) on the transition towards net-zero carbon emissions. His breadth of experience stems from 20 years working in the finance industry (equity research, fund management and corporate finance) with a focus on both the energy transition and the digital energy revolution the sector is going through. Prior to founding Alexa Capital, he was Managing Director and Head of European Cleantech Research at Jefferies & Co. Gerard was also a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, TU Berlin and Imperial College in London.

Anastasia Gurnell is Associate Director in the Structured Finance Origination team at NORD/LB, specialising in renewable energy and storage project financing across Europe. NORD/LB have financed over 850 MW of projects in the Baltics since 2023.

Tim has been working at Nordic Solar since 2018. He has 11 years of experience with solar energy, working as CLO at Nordic Solar and Senior Legal Manager at European Energy. In April 2025, Tim was appointed Chief Investment Officer at Nordic Solar. Tim’s capabilities cover M&A, strategy, project and business development within renewables. Tim is a member of the Executive Management at Nordic Solar.

Mikkel joined Our New Energy as a Partner in 2019, and heads up the Nordic and UK markets. He came from a position as Head of Origination at Danske Commodities, where he was responsible for their +6GW renewables PPA portfolio. Our New Energy is the leading European PPA advisor having closed +2.5 GW of long term PPAs for unsubsidised assets across Europe. Mikkel Kring is a strong believer of hybrid projects (wind+solar), and predicts a rapid expansion of solar in particularly in Sweden and Denmark.

Liisa Rajala Malmgren is Chief Legal Officer at Alight and has spent nearly a decade structuring Nordic solar PPAs through multiple market cycles. She has led numerous PPA negotiations backed by complex financing, with a focus on balancing financial liquidity and long‑term revenue security. Today, Liisa and her team work on new contractual structures, from multi‑buyer and shorter‑term contracts to flexible portfolio approaches, that meet evolving corporate offtaker demands, risk appetite and sustainability goals while keeping deals bankable.

Vegard Vollset is a Senior Vice President and head of the Renewables & Power markets in Rystad Energy. He has more than a 15 years of experience working within energy markets and has broad experience in energy modelling, M&A and strategy work. He has worked closely with clients from the entire energy sector, from renewable energy companies, service companies, governmental organizations, investors and NGO's. Prior to Rystad, he has worked Total Energies and Equinor, and he holds a M.Sc. degree from NTNU Trondheim and a M.Sc. degree from the University of Stavanger.

Anders Hellström is a sales and commercial leader with a decade-long track record of scaling green energy companies from startup to market leader. He was employee number one in sales at Svea Solar, helping grow revenues from €2M to over €100M and building one of Sweden's fastest growing companies. At Aira, he joined at 15 employees and helped scale the business to 1,300, launching sales operations across three European markets and later overhauling global customer service. Today he serves as Sales Director Nordics at Sigenergy, bringing his energy transition expertise to the next frontier: intelligent energy storage.

Rachel leads engagements encompassing energy storage training, market analysis, electricity and ancillary services price forecasting, energy storage business model optimization, and commercial due diligence. Additionally, Rachel contributes to R&D efforts, including the development of Clean Horizon's in-house BESS optimization tool, COSMOS, and coordinates the company's price forecast activity. Her expertise extends to European countries, with a focus on France, Germany, as well as the Nordic and Baltic regions.

Umur Uğurlu is an Electrical and Electronic Engineer with over eight years of specialized experience in energy automation and technical leadership. Currently serving as the Energy Automation Manager at Inavitas Energy, he has furthered his expertise in Project Management, Energy Automation, and Power Plant Control (PPC) systems. Throughout his career, he has participated in and spearheaded numerous complex energy projects, including electrical distribution, renewable energy, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). By combining his technical proficiency with strategic business development and tender management skills, he has played a significant role in securing numerous high-budget contracts. Having contributed to IEEE-published research and participated in award-winning projects, including the 4th Trenchless Balkans Conference award, Umur is also a Formula 1 enthusiast and enjoys staying active through basketball and volleyball.

Morten Pindstrup is the International Chief Engineer for the Danish transmission system operator, with a background in a thermal generation company. He focuses on designing the future market framework for offshore grids, ensuring transparency, equal access, and scalability while providing clear investment signals to offshore wind developers. Morten participates in the implementation of network codes for electricity in Europe, the integration of renewable energy into the electricity system, and the development of markets for cross-border energy trading. Recently, he has supported system operators in India, Colombia, and Mexico in their efforts to integrate wind power into their electricity systems. Previously, Morten was tasked with representing Energinet in the European joint grid development under the European Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E). His main contribution was to the bi-annual Ten Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP). He has extensive experience in system analysis and market modeling, both from a generator's perspective and from a transmission system operator's point of view. Additionally, Morten works on the market rules for infrastructure projects and has been responsible for developing the business case for the Viking Link project, a 1400MW HVDC interconnector between Denmark and England.

Christiane Ulriksen is CEO of UBSC. She works with both sides of the Nordic data centre market: companies launching or scaling operations, and suppliers trying to enter the data centre industry or the Nordics. Her work covers market entry strategy, local engagement, and site selection. She builds dialogue with municipalities and communities to secure project acceptance, and connects clients to utilities, grid operators, and other key players in the industry network. Christiane is a strong advocate for sustainable critical infrastructure. She works to cut the carbon footprint of data centres and improve public perception across Europe. She is part of the advisory board of the Norwegian Data Centre Industry association and is a board member of IT-Forum Vest.

Even Kvelland is the co-founder and CCO of Glint Solar, a Norwegian software company whose platform helps leading solar developers quickly identify and analyze greenfield solar projects for both ground and floating PV. Prior to Glint, Even worked in a number of energy-related functions spanning consulting, business intelligence and diplomacy in Europe, Africa and the US. Even studied energy, economics and international affairs at Macalester College and Columbia University, respectively.

Jasmin Bejdic is the Founder and CEO of Copenhagen Energy, a renewable energy developer and power trader based in Copenhagen. With a background in engineering, Jasmin began his career as a project manager before founding Copenhagen Energy. The company focuses on onshore and offshore wind, battery storage, and solar PV. Today, the company has over 40 employees from 14 nationalities and is actively developing projects in five global markets.

Silas joins Infranode in November 2021 as head and responsible for Infranode's activities in Denmark. He has more than 12 years of experience in transactions and financial analysis within energy and infrastructure. He most recently came from a position as Director at Nykredit Advisory, a local M&A advisory firm focused exclusively on energy and infrastructure, which he co-founded. At Nykredit, Silas has advised most major energy and utility companies, Danish pension funds and international infrastructure investors looking to invest in Danish infrastructure. Silas has also had primary responsibility for knowledge building and sharing within energy and infrastructure within Nykredit’s activities and the organization as a whole. He was part of a business development team that established the ESG advisory unit at Nykredit, which was to help large companies improve their ESG classification. Prior to joining Nykredit, Silas worked as a senior consultant in Dansk Energi’s strategic analysis unit and has extensive experience working with a wide range of energy sectors and stakeholders. Silas Harbo holds an Energy MBA from Columbia University in New York and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, through which he also studied at the London School of Economics and ISCTE Business School in Lisbon. He is a former captain with a 13-month posting in Georgia, a Danish citizen and resident in Copenhagen.

Øystein brings a wealth of experience in the renewable energy sector, both as an industrial CEO and as a private equity investor. He has led buy- and sell-side transactions across Europe and has been involved with leading energy players such as Statkraft, Encavis, HitecVision, among others. Leveraging a strong client network and deep industry expertise, Øystein supports Capcora’s M&A and Debt Advisory activities with a focus on expanding the firm’s footprint in the Nordic market. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Julien Cossé is the Chief Strategy Officer at Nord Pool, Europe's leading power market. With a deep understanding of energy markets and strategic development, Julien plays a pivotal role in shaping Nord Pool's future direction and response to the evolving energy landscape. His expertise encompasses market design, regulatory affairs, and the integration of renewable energy sources, all crucial for the continued efficiency and stability of power trading across Europe. Prior to his current role, Julien held various senior positions within the energy sector, contributing significantly to market innovation and sustainable energy transitions.

Krisztián Gérusz holds a bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering with a focus on renewable energy and a master’s degree from DTU. He gained early industry experience as an intern at a local independent power producer, contributing to the design of small-scale utility PV plants. In 2022, he joined Sungrow as Product Manager, specializing in utility PV inverters and medium-voltage stations. Since late 2023, his responsibilities have expanded to include battery energy storage systems in line with market developments in Denmark.

Laura is a renewable and software industry sales professional, currently working at RatedPower as Territory Manager for Nordics and Oceania. With a background in International Business and International Trade, Laura previously worked in the business strategy area in various companies as well as as a market analyst for the Government of Spain in Australia.

With a career in solar spanning nearly two decades, Martin has accumulated broad international experience across business development and market expansion. Having held leadership roles across EPC, trading and consultancy companies in Europe and Latin America, he now leads sales and business development efforts for meteocontrol in the DACH region.

Ville Väre is Managing Director Nordics at NW Groupe, the French developer and operator of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). NW operates +1GW of storage capacity in France, Finland, Sweden and Italy. He brings 15 years of energy sector experience spanning DSOs, market regulation, EV charging, battery storage, and electricity trading, including multiple senior roles in market leading companies in Nordics. He holds an M.Sc. in Energy Technology from Tampere University of Technology.

As a founding member and board member of the Danish Data Center Industry (DDI), and having assisted in establishing the Net-Zero Innovation Hub for Data Centers, Ulrik Fleischer-Michaelsen has close insight into the sector's key stakeholders and the developments shaping it. He is known for an approach that goes beyond the law itself—taking the time to understand each client's business and industry, not just their legal needs—a philosophy that also shapes how 360 Law Firm is structured and operates. 360 Law Firm serves the entire value chain within the data center industry, as well as many other sectors. Amanda has over 10 years of experience as an energy consultant, energy analyst and economist with expertise in power markets and trading strategies for new energy types in Australia, Europe and the US. Amanda provided power market and energy risk management training to over 100 energy stakeholders throughout Europe, Australia and Asia. Amanda joined Ingrid Capacity to build the commercial steer of the business. Amanda has worked previously at BKW, a Swiss Utility, to build the PPA business across Europe. Previously, Amanda also worked for Pexapark as a Senior consultant specialised in commercial energy risk management.

Ruben Valiente is the Managing Director of Maxxen, a leading European player in the energy storage sector. With more than 25 years of international experience in the energy transition industry, he has held senior roles in global multinationals including GE and ABB, as well as founding several energy start-ups. An engineer graduating cum laude and an MBA holder from IESE Business School, Ruben combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial, strategic, and operational leadership. His experience spans the full energy value chain, including project development and finance, EPC and O&M, R&D, product innovation, and manufacturing. Throughout his career, he has focused on accelerating the deployment of clean energy solutions and scaling technologies that support the global energy transition.

Maël is a Research Associate specializing in Nordic & Baltic Power Markets at Aurora Energy Research. In his day-to-day work, he focuses on fundamental long-term forecasting of the Nordic power market, providing crucial insights into its future dynamics. His topics of interest include policy support for energy generation, such as offshore wind and nuclear, Power Purchase Agreements, industry electrification, and grid development. With a background in Mathematics and five years of work experience analyzing the European energy transition, particularly in the Benelux and Nordic regions, Maël brings a strong analytical perspective to understanding and shaping the evolving energy landscape.

Panu Matilainen is Market Origination Lead at Capalo AI, where he leads the company's long term offtake agreements across 11 countries. In this role, he works to secure the commercial partnerships that underpin Capalo AI's battery energy storage system optimization and trading business across Europe. Since joining Capalo AI, Panu has held several commercial roles, including Business Development Executive and Business Development Manager, before moving into his current position as Market Origination Lead. Across these roles, he has built a deep understanding of how technical energy market dynamics connect with commercial strategies. Before joining Capalo AI, Panu worked as a trainee at eSett in Helsinki, gaining early exposure to the Nordic energy market. He also served as a Sergeant in the Finnish Defence Forces. Panu holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology from Aalto University.

Nicola Kopij Zanin, CFA is an Independent Consultant at Solarplaza. He covers the role of M&A Director at PST, a Polish-based IPP & developer.
