At the 1st edition of the Solarplaza Summit Sweden & Energy Storage, you'll gain the critical knowledge and connections necessary to truly tap into the potential of the Swedish PV market.
The country is attracting an inflow of project development activity around utility-scale projects and is a go-to market for foreign IPPs, project developers, and asset managers. The vibrant Swedish PPA landscape is also setting an example for other Nordic markets. However, challenges such as complex permitting schemes and a saturated grid capacity remain obstacles that new market players must navigate in order to successfully roll out new projects. Installed capacity is forecasted to increase from 2022 to 2035, at which point solar PV is expected to account for 13% of total installed generation capacity, making Sweden a preferred destination for the leading European PV companies.
The event crowd is a balanced split between high-level local and international players making for an invaluable networking pool, with key decision-makers willing to discuss and explore strategies and new business opportunities.

Our events have a business-to-business focus and are tailored to high-level strategy and mid-to-large-scale project development in the renewable energy industry. The attendee profile includes a wide range of industry actors throughout the value chain, from manufacturing, project development, financing & investment, and construction to asset management, operations & maintenance, recycling, and power trading,
Our event programs are not particularly suited to individual consumers or renewables enthusiasts, although everyone is welcome!
To make the event as engaging, diverse, and valuable as possible for all attendees, we do everything we can to maintain a healthy balance between attendees “buyer” profiles (project developers, IPPs, asset owners, utilities, investors, etc.) and “seller” profiles (manufacturers, service providers, software developers, etc.) profile. As such, we will sometimes limit partnership opportunities (to not become too “seller” heavy) and will always actively pursue and involve attendees of a “buyer” profile, offering high-level companies in this category customized event experiences.
Event Tools & Materials
Yes, attendees can enhance their summit experience with the Solarplaza mobile app. The app offers a mobile-friendly overview of the event program, speakers, and partners and offers registered attendees access to the full list of fellow attendees. As an event participant, you will be able to browse and filter through this list, send connection requests, and engage in direct messaging to coordinate private meetings or other event follow-ups.
You will only need to install the app once (available on Android and IOS as ‘Solarplaza App’) and can proceed to log in with the same Solarplaza account that you’ve used to purchase your tickets.
The event environment is not temporary, so you’ll be able to access your connections, messages, and events after the event is over.
Yes! And we wholeheartedly encourage you to do so. At all our events, we use the Slido Q&A tool. It’s a great online environment that allows you to (anonymously if you prefer) ask questions to our speakers and panelists, upvote the questions of others, and participate in audience polls and quizzes. You can access the Slido tool through the event app or directly through the Slido website (using the event code). We’ll project the Slido tool on the big screen whenever it’s time to involve the audience in the discussion.
You can access the full list of attendees through the Solarplaza App. There, you can send connection requests and engage in direct communications with your fellow attendees to informally set up meetings. For most of our events, we designate specific meeting zones in the venue (indicated on the floor plan), which will be a logical meet-up spot for any meetings you agree on in the app. As of yet, there is no specific meeting scheduling functionality built into the app.
Would you prefer a more personal approach? Our team onsite is always happy to assist you in trying to establish introductions to specific people or profiles you might be looking for.
Yes, after the event concludes, attendees will be able to access the presentations by completing a survey to review the event. The event survey will be sent via email, as well as via a notification in the app. Ensure to always check your inbox fully and complete the survey to access all slides.
No, generally we do not. We emphasize the live experience and would rather attribute budget to keynotes than video production crews.
Event Program
We aim to strike a careful balance between knowledge sharing and networking. The content blocks of our programs are made up of informational presentations, engaging panel discussions, and interactive elements such as workshops. However, we reserve plenty of time for networking, ensuring multiple lengthy breaks on a day for establishing connections and gathering refreshments.
For each event, we assemble an event advisory board that includes high-level market experts and industry heavyweights. These advisory board members are important sources of feedback and industry connections in the process of building our program.
We strive to finalize the program several weeks before the event. However, if 20 years of organizing events have taught us anything, it’s to “always expect the unexpected”. Small changes and substitutions in the program may occur up until the day itself, in case speakers themselves have to excuse themselves due to unforeseen circumstances.
We only ever publish speakers who have given a clear confirmation of their attendance and would never lure audiences with false promises of big names without their concrete commitment. Emergencies, however, are outside of our control.

Tickets & Registration
You can register for the summit through our website. Please visit the registration page to access the ticketing module. To purchase a ticket, you will need to log in to your Solarplaza account. If you don’t have one yet, you’ll be asked to create one. It will only take a few minutes and will set you up for all your future interactions with Solarplaza and our events. You’ll need the same account for the event app, so we encourage you to provide correct information and ample details.

You can still purchase a ticket on the day itself, but you will need to do so through the event website, as per usual. Therefore, you will need to set up a Solarplaza account and will need a credit card or PayPal account to purchase the ticket. We do not accept cash payments at the desk, nor can we accommodate invoice-based registrations.
Solarplaza offers special discounts for group bookings and bulk ticket purchases from a certain group size. Please reach out to the event manager for more information on group rates and available discounts. You can find their contact details at the bottom of the page.
We work with a tiered, time-sensitive system of ticket categories and pricing. Any additional exclusive discounts are occasionally offered to our invested community through email updates, resource releases, webinars, and more.

We don’t distinguish between organization types in our ticket rates, and thus offer no specific discounts for nonprofits or start-ups.
If, however, your organization has a strong social purpose, you can apply for the Solarplaza Foundation Grant, which provides support in gaining limited complimentary access to Solarplaza events worldwide. Learn more about eligibility and requirements on their page:

If you need a visa to attend a Solarplaza event, it's essential to be aware of the visa requirements for the event's location and to apply for the visa promptly.
In valid cases, Solarplaza can provide a Visa Invitation Letter to assist with your visa application, provided you have purchased an event ticket. We can support you in securing the required documentation for your visa application. However, please note that Solarplaza International BV won't offer refunds for tickets if you're unable to get a visa or if your visa application is unsuccessful.

Changes & Cancellations
Yes. Should you no longer be able to attend the conference, you can transfer your ticket to a colleague or relation. To put this in motion, please send an email to our customer support team with the following information:
Transferring your ticket to someone else is possible up until 3 days prior to the event.
Should an attendee cancel their participation via e-mail at least 14 days before the event starts, a refund of the registration fee, minus a 15% administrative charge, or a full credit for another Solarplaza event will be made by Solarplaza.
Participants who cancel their participation less than 14 days before the start of the event or do not attend the conference at all, will not be refunded or credited. However, they will have the possibility to transfer the ticket to another person as a replacement.
For attendees using a complimentary ticket, cancellations must be communicated at least 14 days before the event. Those who do not comply will be charged an administrative fee of 15%.
Solarplaza holds the right to cancel an event if not enough participants sign up. In this case, they will receive a credit or full refund limited to the ticket fee only.
Transport & Accommodation
We currently don't have an official accommodation partner for this event. You're of course welcome to book a stay nearby at your convenience.
We do not offer specific transportation options for reaching our event venue. If the event includes a site visit or a specific external venue for other networking activities, we will provide guidance or arrange transportation. This will be clearly communicated on the program page, when relevant, and in the practical details email.
Press & Media
If you work for a press or media organization and would like to attend the event, please submit your details and motivation to [email protected] for consideration. We don’t usually provide press passes, but consider applications, as long as exposure and accreditation are guaranteed.
We are always energized by working with local media organizations. Should you have a strong media platform and presence, please send your details and reasoning to [email protected] for consideration.

Please ensure that any requests for accessibility support are submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event. While we strive to meet all needs, we will do our utmost to accommodate requests made after this date.
Certainly. In purchasing your event ticket, we already inquire about any dietary needs. We will make sure these are catered to by the venue and any internal or external caterers they may use.
Miscellaneous
The Solarplaza team members manning the registration desk can not take any luggage or valuables for safekeeping. The venue itself might offer wardrobe services, but this can not be guaranteed.
