Miguel Antonio Jiménez Romero is a distinguished figure in the renewable energy and construction sectors, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at AJ CONSTRUCTION SRL since October 2023. With a career spanning over two decades, Miguel has been at the forefront of developing, financing, and managing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), Balance of System (BOS), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for renewable energy projects across the World. His expertise encompasses a wide range of technologies including biomass, wind, and solar projects, significantly contributing to the renewable energy landscape in countries such as Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Portugal, United Kingdom, Egypt, Argelia, Japan, Mexico and some other countries.

Andreea is currently Financial Director within Nofar Energy, part of an international group companies specialized in the field of energy production from renewable sources. Among other projects, Nofar is building the largest solar project in Romania, with a capacity of 154MW. Andreea has over 18 years of experience in important credit institutions in Romania, in project financing and syndication in the energy, industry and real estate sectors.

Laimonas Dapšys, serving as the Senior Business Development Manager at Green Genius, brings over two decades of rich experience in steering innovation and growth within the renewable energy, alternative fuels, and automotive industries. With an impressive track record spanning 26 years, Laimonas has been at the forefront of pioneering sustainable energy solutions. His expertise in new business development, coupled with his adeptness in implementing international projects, positions him as a leading figure in the transition towards a greener economy.

Filip Sypko is a versatile manager with 11 years of professional experience. Both as an entrepreneur and a manager, he had the opportunity to lead commercial, technical and business development departments. In the solar industry for 5 years. Previously, he was responsible for the development of a unique solar-as-a-service product and the development of industrial scale projects in 6 markets with a total capacity of over 2 GW for a pan-European solar developer. An expert in the field of utility-scale and C&I solar projects, with a very broad view of the solar industry, starting from greenfield development and M&A, through construction and supply chain, to O&M and offtake. Currently in charge of developing utility-scale and C&I business line for Menlo Electric, fastest growing distributor in EMEA. A graduate of the Faculty of Energy and Fuels at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, MBA studies at Koźmiński Executive Business School in Warsaw and Technische Universität Clausthal in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

Bogdan is Enery Element's Country Manager for Romania, with the main task of developing the local team and projects in the renewable energy sector. With more than ten years of experience in the construction industry, his work focuses on project development and supervision, managing operations for legal licenses/permits/authorizations required by law.

Ioannis is a Senior Manager with 15 years of international experience in the Renewable Energy industry and he is a strong believer of the green transition. Being the Head of EE’s Bucharest office since 2021 present and active during the 1st Renewable Energy round in Romania, recognizes all the efforts and the progress that were done. Ioannis is convinced, that with the strengthening of the dialogue with the government for the right policy design in renewable energy, combined with brave and on time decisions, Romania can achieve incredible results of the green transition already in the nearest future and a significant role of European growth, stability and sustainability

Since 2003, Benedikt Ortmann, PhD, dedicates his career to photovoltaic projects all over the world. Before joining the team at BayWa r.e. in 2011, he built the international project business for SOLON SE in Berlin from scratch and turned it into a successful and highly profitable business division. His career in the renewable energy business started at S.A.G. Solarstrom AG, Freiburg, where he was CFO from 2003 until 2006. BayWa r.e. Solar Projects is one of the key driving solar development companies worldwide, providing greenfield development, turnkey construction, financing and sales of photovoltaic power plants. The company has installed a solar capacity of more than 3.4 GW and is a subsidiary of BayWa r.e., a part of the BayWa AG.

Evangelos is Aurora’s Head of Southeastern Europe, based in Athens. While at Aurora, Evangelos has gained extensive commercial due diligence experience in renewable energy and storage asset investments across Europe and Australia. He managed Aurora’s multi-client study on hydrogen and has also advised major developers and infrastructure funds on the business case of battery, pumped-hydro and compressed-air storage technologies. Before joining Aurora in November 2017, Evangelos spent 4 years at Imperial College London as a Research Associate at the Centre for Environmental Policy and a consultant with Imperial Consultants. He also co-authored the book ‘Energy Innovation for the 21st Century’. Evangelos holds a PhD in Engineering (Energy Systems) and an MSc with Distinction in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh, and an MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Dr. Miguel Ochoa Giménez is an expert in grid-following, grid-forming control and power quality topics including harmonic and resonance compensation and serves as a grid-code compliance analyst for different countries including APAC, Middle East and EU regions. He has 12 years of experience in power electronics control, design and mathematical modelling and a member of key associations such as CLC TC8X, IEC TC120, IEC TC82, IEC TC8, CIGRE and UNEF.

Florian is the co-founder of Kraftfeld, focusing on project development and legal matters. He started his career advising international energy companies on their expansion in CEE and built up his expertise in renewable energy while working at an energy investment firm. Florian holds a master's degree in Law from the University of Vienna and a master's degree in Information Technology for Business from the Vienna University of Technology.

Paweł is a graduate of the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology and holds a scholarship to Automotive Engineering at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. He has several years of experience in sales in the technical industry in well-known international companies. From 2022, Pawel is Key Account Manager at Sungrow Polska responsible for direct sales of PV and ESS products to projects. Privately, he is a sports and automotive enthusiast.

Tamas Bogar stands as a fervent advocate for the transition to sustainable energy practices, serving as an esteemed ambassador for green energy at Electron Holding Zrt. With a keen focus on the Balkan and Eastern European regions, he spearheads the development of strategic initiatives aimed at fostering growth. His leadership extends to guiding negotiations in SPA discussions, orchestrating the planning and permitting of greenfield solar and wind farm projects, and coordinating costs effectively. Through direct collaboration with OEM suppliers, he ensures the seamless fulfillment of demand. Vigilantly monitoring the evolving landscape of wind farm development in Hungary, he remains at the forefront of industry trends. Actively engaging in regional renewable energy working groups, he contributes valuable insights and fosters collaborative efforts. His expertise extends to meticulously preparing revenue projections, cash flow analyses, and budget plans. Rogier Roobeek is a senior consultant at DNV within the Energy Markets and Strategy Team based in Arnhem, The Netherlands. He supports customers in making techno-economic and strategic decisions in renewable energy technologies. His primary expertise is in market studies, business case assessments, system integration, hydrogen and flexibility markets. He has extensive experience as a project manager for a broad variety of (international) Clients.

Sebastian Enache currently leads the RENEWACAD initiative, Europe's platform for re-skilling miners in renewables, training over 1000 miners since its inception. As Head of M&A since 2020, he has overseen renewable deals in wind and PV totaling more than 2 billion EUR, including Europe's largest Solar PV plant, Arad 1044MW. With over 15 years in the wind industry, Enache's career began in Romania, leading significant wind measurement campaigns and establishing the country’s first private dispatch center for renewables. His profound impact includes roles in major renewable energy associations and advisory boards, shaping the energy sector's future.

Radu Dudău is President and co-founder of EPG. He was, from 2007 to 2023, an Associate Professor at the Bucharest University. From 2006 to 2010 he was Deputy Director at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). He graduated in Physics and Philosophy from the University of Iași. He holds a Dr. Phil. degree in Philosophy (magna cum laude) from Konstanz University (Germany) and a PhD in Political Science (International Relations) (summa cum laude) from the National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA, Bucharest). He was a Fulbright Fellow with the National Security Program at Harvard Kennedy School of Government (2011), a New Europe College Fellow at the Danish Institute of International Relations (Copenhagen, 2006) and an OSI/FCO-Chevening scholar at Oxford University (1999-2000). His work focuses on energy policy, energy technology, and energy markets.

Victor is the Technical Support Manager for the EU region for Runergy. Victor Rada has extensive experience as Chemical Engineer, Renewable Energy Engineer, PV Power Plant Auditor for a major TIC company, as well as the PV Module Technology Expert for a large Solar Project Developer. His role is based on providing technical support to the sales team of Runergy as they expand further into the European module market.

Dee Yon Chng (pronounced Dion) is a project manager for Solarplaza spearheading the following events in chronological order: Agri-PV 2023, Floating-PV 2023, Energy Storage Spain 2023, Romania 2024, France 2024. Prior to Solarplaza she helped co-found a "floating" coaching company, and worked as sustainability consultant. She is a strong believer in knowledge sharing around sustainability topics, with 10 years of chairman experience in facilitating a collaborative and fruitful discussion.
