He leads the growth of a multi-technology portfolio that includes over 1.7 GW of solar and wind projects in operation, construction, or development across Iberia and France. With a background as an industrial engineer and an MBA, Lucas specializes in bridging the gap between technical execution and complex financial strategy to drive long-term asset ownership. His career is defined by a commitment to the European energy transition, overseeing major strategic expansions such as a 1 GW PV development alliance in Spain and a significant stake in the 630 MW London Array offshore wind farm.

Carmen Izquierdo is the CEO and co-founder of nTeaser, the leading digital marketplace for renewable energy projects and assets in Europe. With a background in industrial engineering and corporate finance, Carmen began her career advising energy and infrastructure transactions, later focusing on equity transactions and the digitalisation of renewable energy M&A processes. Today, nTeaser is the benchmark platform in M&A transactions of renewable assets, with 110+ active projects and over 10 GW currently available across Solar PV, Wind, BESS, Biogas, Hydrogen, Hydropower and Data Centers in Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany and the UK. Through nTeaser, Carmen works to bring transparency, efficiency and real-time market data to investors and developers across Europe.

José María Piñar is the Chairman and CEO of Elmya, a leading EPC developer and contractor founded in 1966. Elmya is widely characterized by its commitment to innovation and quality in all its projects. In addition to his work at Elmya, he has founded and directed several development companies, as well as an energy services company (ESCO), which are now part of the Elmya ecosystem. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Alfonso X El Sabio University, a master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Vienna University of Technology, an EMBA from San Telmo Business School, and a postgraduate degree from Harvard Business School.

Environmental Engineer with a master’s in engineering and technology management. Her professional activity has always been linked to the energy and environment field, having started as a researcher in the areas of innovation, technology, and policy. After working also on the field of climate change and energy efficiency as a consultant in 2015, she took the role of energy policy analyst in the Technical Department of APREN. She is now the Head of Policy and Market Intelligence - in this role, she encompasses advice to members and stakeholders in the renewable energy sector, research and development of studies to promote and support policy decision making, representation and defence of APREN's strategic vision next to the official entities, national and international associations, and stakeholders.

Teresa is focused on accelerating growth, strengthening the value proposition, and delivering measurable value for B2B clients across energy and distributed solutions (solar, BESS and others) in Iberia. With an emphasis on smart investments, portfolio excellence, bold innovation, and differentiated customer experience, Teresa works to strengthen EDP’s market leadership and accelerate the energy transition. With nearly a decade at EDP, Teresa has held several strategic leadership roles across Investments, M&A, asset operations and corporate strategy, including serving as Chief of Staff to the CEO. Her experience spans the full asset lifecycle, from investment and growth strategy to operational excellence and portfolio optimisation within the renewables sector. Teresa began her career in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan in London. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s Degree in Management and Finance from ESCP Business School and Católica Lisbon.

Since 2011, Pedro is leading investment, structured finance, and M&A activities at Elawan Energy, an IPP with 2.3GW of operational renewable energy projects and an 11GW portfolio in 15 countries, part of the Japanese corporation ORIX. With more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure and renewable energy investment, he has been responsible for the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestment transactions, as well as structured financing in both EMEA and the Americas for wind, photovoltaic, and hydro generation projects. Recently, he has also worked on storage and green hydrogen projects. Prior to joining Elawan, he worked in the business development and operations departments at Globalvia and FCC. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the UPM, and an International Executive MBA from IE Business School.

Miguel Sanchez Praena is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Prior to founding Altano Energy, he held several leadership roles at top-tier companies in the industry, including Ventient, SunEdison, and Acciona. He has extensive international experience in business development, structured finance, M&A, and construction. Miguel holds a degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering and an Executive MBA from SMU (USA). With more than €5bn in transactional experience, he brings a deep and holistic understanding of the renewable energy industry, including multi-technology expertise and a strong track record in growth and value creation.

Mónica has over 10 years of professional experience collaborating with renewable energy producers, overseeing the commercialization and optimization of their energy across multiple markets. Her expertise focuses on business development and the provision of continued strategic support to ensure efficient market participation and optimal performance across energy generation assets, as well as the market integration and optimization of energy storage assets.

Kim specialises in transaction support as an independent market and economic advisor for major power project developers, financiers, and fuel suppliers. In total, he has supported the successful completion of 72GW of conventional and renewable power projects and 726MIGD of water desalination projects with a transaction value of USD44 billion over the past 23 years, including 15GW in Spain since 2018. Susana leads the optimization of renewable generation and storage assets within the markets, as well as PPAs and hedging strategies for renewable producers. She brings extensive experience in innovation projects and energy market expertise from her previous role as Business Development Manager, where she spent six years spearheading innovation initiatives and scouting for new products and services. Susana holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Ingeniera de Caminos, Canales y Puertos) from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and an MBA (Master in Business Administration) from the UOC.

Jean-Paul is Lead Power Originator and Western Europe Commercial Lead at MET International, where he structures and executes power and flexibility transactions across Western Europe, drawing on nearly 10 years of battery energy storage (BESS) experience. Prior to MET, he led BP’s entry into battery storage in the UK and Europe. Before BP, he was Lead Revenue Manager at Ørsted, focused on optimising offshore wind revenues (including ancillary services) and assessing the commercial case for energy storage across multiple markets. He began his career as an early employee at Camborne Energy Storage and Zenobē Energy, two pioneers of UK energy storage development. Jean-Paul holds an MSc in Entrepreneurship and Engineering from UCL (London) and a BEng in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh).

Fátima María García Señán is the Deputy Director General for Storage and Flexibility at the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. She graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 2016 and has a Masters in Renewable Energy from Cranfield University in the UK. In 2019 she completed the selection process to become a State Industrial Engineer. Her expertise lies in renewable energy regulation, the administrative procedure and European regulatory affairs.

Rodrigo is an accomplished professional in energy and risk management, specializing in the development of customized quantitative energy strategies for power plant owners and asset managers. He brings deep expertise in the Iberian electricity market, underscored by his creation of the OMIE Tracker application, which facilitates the monitoring of operations in power markets. Prior to his current focus on optimizing energy assets, Rodrigo developed quantitative power trading strategies at El Corte Inglés and managed over 1,000 supply points as an Energy Manager at ACCIONA. His technical foundation includes an engineering degree and advanced studies in Artificial Intelligence applied to Financial Markets, allowing him to bridge the gap between data-driven analytics and practical energy management solutions.

Cecilie is a research analyst for the Global Energy Storage team at Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables, focusing on European, Middle Eastern and African storage markets. Before joining the storage team, she contributed to Wood Mackenzie’s Middle East and Africa solar and onshore wind analysis, monitoring project development updates, asset transactions and policy updates. Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, she worked as an ESG and social impact analyst for a financial services firm. In that capacity, she focused on EU regulation and international frameworks and advised on sustainability-related investments. Cecilie holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from IE University in Madrid, Spain.

David leads strategic initiatives within the energy, power, and utilities (P&U) sectors, bringing over 14 years of experience to the Spanish renewable energy market. He is a recognized expert in the development and commercial scaling of biomethane and renewable gases, having advised on major transactions and the creation of investment platforms in Spain. David’s expertise focuses on navigating complex regulatory frameworks and infrastructure challenges to drive decarbonized energy solutions, making him a key voice in the evolution of the region's energy landscape.

Valentin is an Electrical Engineer from INSA Lyon with a Specialized Master’s Degree in New Energy Management of AMPT Lille, with over 15 years of experience in the Renewable Energy sector. At DNV, he works as Principal Consultant in the Energy Market Analytics team, covering Southern Europe and Latin America Energy Markets. Additionally, he has a Global Practice Lead role for Power Price Forecast (PPF), where he coordinates the PPF activities across regions, driving innovation and promoting best practices. Prior to DNV, Valentin was Head of Quantitative Research at Antuko, where he led Market Intelligence, Market Modelling, Risk Management, and Asset Management. Valentin is a specialist in Smart Grid and Energy Management with knowledge of modelling electrical transmission grid, renewable energy, and storage systems. He also worked as a Research Engineer at the Lille L2EP Laboratory to develop methods and solutions for the optimization of renewable energy production, storage, and consumption.

Tomás García is the lead Senior Director of the Energy & Infrastructure Advisory practice in Spain & Portugal at JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) since April 2020. In this role, he leads the team providing transactional and financial advisory services for renewable energy assets in Iberia. Prior to this, Tomás was the Managing Director of the Solar & Wind Projects business in Spain & Portugal at BayWa r.e. (2019). Prior to this role, he was the Head of Business Development EMEA, Energy Group at Canadian Solar (2017-2018). Before that he served at SunEdison as General Manager, Rural Electrification EMEA (2014-2015) and as Head of Strategy & Market Development EMEA & LATAM (2011-2014). Before that Tomás was Market Strategy Manager at First Solar (2008-2011) and a Strategy Consultant at the Monitor Group (2004-2008). Additionally, he has also worked as a Venture Capitalist, Research Scientist (doing science on solar PV materials), University Teacher and FX Trader. Tomás was a PhD student at Florida International University, earned his MSci at King’s College London and his Masters degree in Physics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He is fluent in Spanish and English and functional in Italian.

Rafael is a Civil Engineer and, since September 2022, a member of Renewable Japan Europe (A Tokyu Land Corporation company) as Head of Business Development for Europe and M&A Director. He leads the Business Development, Origination, and M&A activity, having over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with roles as International Business Development Director & Country Manager in different markets: EUROPE, LATAM and JAPAN.​ ​More than 30GW assets evaluated, over 10GW negotiated, 3GW agreements, 1GW succeed closing contracts.​
