He has many years of experience in the field of business development in international companies, where he worked closely with, among others, entrepreneurs from the industry. His expertise means he knows perfectly well how GreenYellow Polska can provide the highest quality services, and his managerial skills support the team in building a long-term strategy and planning cooperation.

Lukasz Witkowski has over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. Lukasz currently holds the position of Vice President of Development at Better Energy since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as Vice President at Polskie Stowarzyszenie Fotowoltaiki starting from April 2019. Lukasz also had a significant tenure at EDP Renewables, where they held multiple roles including Head of Project Management and Environmental Department, Head of Project Management Department, and Senior Project Manager. Lukasz worked at Nordex as a Technical Sales Manager in 2012 and at Gamesa as a Project Manager/Wind Farm Developer from 2007 to 2011. Lukasz began their career as a Trainee at EC Baltic Renewable Energy Centre (EC BREC) in 2007 and at ENERGA OPERATOR S. A. in 2006. Lukasz Witkowski completed their Bachelor's degree in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at W arsaw University of Technology from 2002 to 2007. Lukasz then pursued further education at the University of Patras in 2007, where they obtained a Master's degree in the same field. In 2010, Lukasz enrolled in postgraduate studies at Kozminski University and successfully completed an MBA program specifically designed for engineers, which concluded in 2012.

Responsible for PPA negotiation, energy trading, origination, structuring, support mechanisms, and market analyses. In energy business since 2010, specializing in energy portfolio management, commodity trading and risk management. Operating and participating with large-scale projects in the Polish Capacity Market since its inception. In 2023, the leader of the team which structured the winning bid for a 1.2 GW storage portfolio in the Capacity Market main auction.

24+ years of experience in Poland and internationally in real estate and renewables as an onshore wind & solar/PV developer and advisor. Founder of Renewables AK (renewables advisory & development incl 0.5GW of onshore wind in Poland) and KAZA Real Estates (real estate development). Advisor for NEG, an International M&A company based in the USA, import of modules and inverters for the Polish prosumer market. Since 2019 active via BBA Solar specializing in Polish PV/onshore wind and battery development in partnership with Proventus Renewables together with global institutional investors and developers including c.113MW PV which reached COD in Q1 2024, 750MW of PV/Co-located Batteries in development as well as currently in the process of securing potential entry into stand-alone battery projects in Poland.

Supports clients in preparing and implementing complex infrastructure projects, primarily in the energy sector, with a particular focus on offshore wind energy and in the acquisition of such projects. He advises at all stages of the investment process, i.e. real estate acquisition, permitting, and contracting (EPC, technology supply, and O&M). He also advises on environmental and waste management matters. He represents clients in disputes in this area before administrative authorities and administrative courts. He has authored publications on administrative law, and co-authored a leading commentary on the Code of Administrative Procedure.

Nicola Kopij Zanin, CFA is an Independent Consultant at Solarplaza. He covers the role of M&A Director at PST, a Polish-based IPP & developer. Nicola holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business from LUISS University in Rome, a Master's degree in Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and has obtained CFA charter.
