Spain’s Ministry of Ecological Transition has granted authorization to 132 solar PV projects, amounting to a combined capacity of 24.8GW. As a result, renewable projects in Spain have encountered significant obstacles and inefficiencies caused by substantial delays in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) processes, leading to bottlenecks in their implementation. With such a large number of installations approved, a demand for various services is vital to bring these projects to full commercial operations. Therefore an upgrade to EPC capacity becomes crucial in ensuring the successful completion of these permitted projects. This panel of experts will discuss how these obstacles can be overcome.
