Webinar: Tapping into Colombia's solar potential

Colombia could well become the surprise market of Latam in 2015. The fastest-growing big economy of Latam possesses an abundance of solar resources and a quickly improving regulatory framework, offering development opportunities for residential, commercial and even utility-scale projects. 

May last year saw the approval of the 1715 Law, the objective of which is to promote the use of  renewable energy. The law specifically states: “Small- and large-scale-self-generation owners are authorized to deliver excess power to the distribution and/or transport networks.” All that remains is for the government to regulate the tariffs with which you will be able to negotiate excess generation. An update on this is expected prior to the webinar.
