Solar Asset Management LATAM 2016

28 Sept. 2016 at Santiago, Chile

We look back at a very successful first edition of Solar Asset Management Latam, which took place on 28-29 September 2016 in Santiago de Chile.

The conference, with over 30 speakers and more than 150 attendees, was rated with an 8.5/10 by the participants.

The level of interaction was particularly high, with animated dialogues between speakers and audience, triggering polls, and insightful discussions on topics as broad as PMGD structuring and operations; O&M scope and responsibilities; PPA bankability and lender perspectives; approaches to mitigate grid congestion and curtailment impact; and more.

Markets will continue to develop rapidly in the region: countries like Argentina and Brazil are ramping up quickly; the Chilean PMGD segment is expected to boom; and topics like O&M, Asset Management and risk mitigation will only become more important over the next years.

We already very much look forward to next year’s conference: Solar Asset Management Latam 2017, which will focus on increasing returns, mitigating risks and operational challenges of PV assets in the region.

“An excellent opportunity to meet others working within the market and discuss the key challenges facing it.” (Project Engineer, 350 Renewables)
