Module Quality: Effective Testing and Experience from the Field.

Kaushik is the Global Technical Leader of Photovoltaic Reliability in the DuPont Photovoltaics and Advanced Materials business. His team works on the performance, reliability and durability of PV packaging materials, degradation of field-deployed PV modules, and PV system economics. Kaushik began his career with DuPont in 2011 as a Principal Investigator in DuPont Central R&D. At DuPont, he has led programs on metallization pastes for silicon photovoltaics, novel inorganic and hybrid thin-film solar absorbers, and light emitting and plasmonic nanomaterials. Kaushik has a Ph.D. in Materials Physics and over 20 years of experience in photovoltaic and optoelectronic materials. Tristan Erion-Lorico brings nearly 15 years of solar and electrical industry experience to PV Evolution Labs (PVEL). As Head of PV Module Business, he collaborates with PV module buyers, investors, research institutions and manufacturers to develop innovative performance and reliability test programs for product qualification. Tristan previously served as Product and Quality Manager for Silfab Solar, where he oversaw Silfab’s extended reliability testing and was responsible for new product development and new material qualification. He has also directed equipment procurement and technical site operations for solar project developers and Independent Power Producers at a range of projects across North America, South America and Asia.

Lynsey Tibbs is Project Manager of Solar Operations at Southern Power Company. Southern Power owns 28 solar facilities in 6 states and manages the operations of these facilities through a combination of third-party O&M contracts and self-perform operations. Lynsey is responsible for managing a team of engineers overseeing the third-party contracts. Lynsey’s team also serves as corporate support for self-perform operations. Lynsey has 12 years of electric industry experience including regulated utility forecasting, utility system planning and renewable development, construction and operation.
