Photorealistic Planning of PV Systems and Multiple PV Arrays on Roofs with PV*SOL® Expert 4.5
PV*SOL® Expert, the dynamic simulation program with 3D visualization and detailed shading analysis of PV systems from Valentin Software, is now available in Version 4.5 with Photo Plan - the integrated photo dimensioning program. With a photo from the customer, the roof and the planned PV system can be presented photorealistically and all essential roof dimensions determined.
In addition to photorealistic presentation, the 3D visualization in PV*SOL® Expert 4.5 now offers many new design objects. In the terrain view menu there is now a universal object in cylinder form and a bay window, the building view menu now has an air outlet pipe, saw tooth roof, fire wall, projecting roof, satellite dish, parapet and maintenance path.
Also new is the multiple coverage feature which allows several buildings or dormers to be covered with PV modules, as can bay windows, walls, saw tooth roofs and projecting roofs.
PV*SOL® Expert offers an excellent new side menu with a tree structure showing inverter configuration and associated functions. By clicking on an element in the structure, the selected system part with the inverter configuration is highlighted and the camera zooms in on it. The side menu can be hidden as required.
PV*SOL® has extensive module and inverter databases with data for around 5,300 modules and 1,300 inverters which are continuously updated and extended by the automatic update function. The data is updated online by the module and inverter manufacturers. Valentin Software then checks the data and makes it regularly available to PV*SOL® users via the automatic update function.
PV*SOL® users can select between five languages in the program: English, Spanish, French, German and Italian, and the user manual is also available in all five languages.
