MARTIFER SOLAR REACHED A TURNOVER OF $71.2 M USD IN THE U.S MARKET IN 2011
-Operating revenues represent 167% growth compared with 2010 -More than 30 MW already signed for 2012
In 2011, Martifer Solar obtained operating revenues of $71.2 M USD (51,1 M €) from its operation in United States, representing an increase of 167% YOY. The company has successfully completed more than 70
contracts, setting U.S as a key market for Martifer Solar.
“International experience and consolidated financial strength have been important differentiation factors of Martifer Solar in the U.S.A.” states Henrique Rodrigues, CEO of Martifer Solar.
The company holds more than 30 MW already signed to be completed in 2012 and a project pipeline
exceeding 100 MW. Ground-mounted projects, rooftop installations, and also distribution of PV equipment through its MPrime brand, are among the segments that Martifer Solar considers excellent business prospects in 2012.
One of these opportunities is exemplified by the Garfield County Airport Solar Array. This project, completed
in record time and with outstanding operating efficiency, was developed in partnership with Clean Energy Collective and offers residential energy at utility scale prices. Each consumer can buy a panel within the collective structure, where the energy generated is credited directly to its electricity bill every month. A second
phase of construction is already set to begin, and it will double the amount of power available to the program
participants.

During this year, the company aims to enter additional markets and to continue working with world-renowned clients, such as Hertz and the Westfield Group.
