UK Sees Record Number of Solar Panels Installed
ELECTRIC - Reports now show that a record number of solar panels have been being installed on UK homes. These figures, which come from Ofgem, show that homeowners in the UK are becoming pretty serious about doing all the can to help protect the environment. Either that, or people are doing all they can right now to save money, and this includes trying to cut down on their power bill.
Ofgem revealed that there were some 1,400 homes that were fitted with solar panels in June. This number went up in July when 1,700 homes had their homes fitted with solar panels. However, so far this month (August) there have been some 2,257 homes that have installed solar panels. This is an amazing jump that shows how serious people are becoming.
