Suntech Power Signs 500MW Photovoltaic Contract Sichuan
Photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturer Suntech Power Holdings (NYSE:STP) has agreed to invest RMB 8 billion to establish a three-phase 500MW on-grid photovoltaic project in Panzhihua, Sichuan province, reports spvchina.com.
The company signed a framework agreement with the Panzhihua municipal government in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on June 26, said the report.
Hui Tong Credit Guaranty and Taiwan-based Nanowin Technology have announced plans to invest a combined amount of $150 million in solar projects in Panzhihua.
