SMA Solar misses forecasts, outlook disappoints
SMA SOLAR - SMA Solar, Germany's largest solar group, missed quarterly earnings expectations, pointing to growing competition and falling market share, a trend it said would continue.
The world's biggest maker of solar inverters needed to convert electricity generated from direct current to alternating current, said on Thursday its global market share of roughly a third would fall in the course of the year and beyond.
