Local initiatives central topic at biggest Dutch PV conference
Local initiatives by municipalities, provinces, housing associations and entrepreneurs and the declining prices of solar modules will boost the use of solar energy in The Netherlands in 2010. Solarplaza forecasts that the total installed power next year will be higher than the cumulative installed power of the last 5 years. More than 250 people attended the 2009 edition of the conference, which draw a lot of media attention, from national newspapers to coverage by TV network stations.
