LA Mayor proposes solar feed-in tariff
BRIGHTERENERGY - Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has proposed a “carbon reduction surcharge” for the city to fund investment in renewable energy systems.
The Mayor announced on Monday that his plan would spur creation of 18,000 jobs over the next decade, while reducing the city’s dependence on fossil fuels.
