A well established Indian company in the field of energy and consulting is looking for a technology and financial partner to joinly develop 200 MW of grid connected PV projects. For the solar project developments a new company is established. In 2010 50 MW are targetted. For the first 5 MW project building is scheduled to start in March. The PPA contract, based on the FIT, is pending and expected next month. Another 20 MW of fully permitted projects will follow soon. The ambitious new Indian solar initiative (20 GW target), will offer tremendous PV business opportunities in India. The available FIT will make a 16% IRR possible (25% IRR on equity). The company has excellent connections with government authorities and is looking for serious Western partners with a proven track record. The Indian company is open for a JV and partnership construction if they can supply the necessary PV system technology and finance (equity). close
