Overview
Following two previous successful events, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand (2006) and Danang, Vietnam (2008), we are
taking the next event in this series to Malaysia, a country in the heart of South East Asia with a long history of hydropower
development – and to the State of Sarawak which is deeply committed to renewable energy development.

The Conference is being hosted in partnership with Sarawak Energy and is supported by Sarawak Hidro and Tenaga Nasional
Berhad. Speakers will represent the major water and energy utilities of the Asia and Pacific regions, as well as financiers,
environmental specialists, and international experts on all aspects of dams, hydropower and other renewable energy sources.
