EMMVEE
is a developer and manufacturer of high performance solar thermal systems as
well as mono- and polycrystalline modules in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of
India. We offer various solar water heating systems and photovoltaic modules
and solutions since 1992 having more than 650 well trained and highly motivated
employees all over the world working in the segments of photovoltaic, solar
thermal systems and glass production.
EMMVEE Solar Water Heating Systems
In
1992, Mr. D.V.Manjunatha founded the company EMMVEE Solar Systems Pvt. Ltd. in
Bangalore, India. Starting its activities in the solar water heaters production
with sales and marketing office in India, EMMVEE Solar Systems Pvt. Ltd., since
2007 a JV with SolarCAP A/S Denmark, has grown to be the
largest manufacturer of Solar Water Heating Systems in India and probably in
Asia.

Solar has already installed over 4,00,000 domestic and industrial systems under
the brand name ‘Solarizer’, ‘SolarizerPlus’ and ‘SolarizerSupreme’ amounting to
a total capacity of around 5,00,000 sqm. across India which includes
prestigious clients like ETA Properties, TTD Tirupathi, Jayadeva Hospital, JSS
institutions.
EMMVEE Photovoltaic (PV) Modules and
Systems
As
early as 2007, EMMVEE Photovoltaic Power Pvt. Ltd. was founded as an Export
Oriented Unit (EOU) for manufacturing high quality mono- and polycrystalline
photovoltaic modules in Bangalore with sales and marketing offices in Europe
and in Bangalore.
The
installed capacity at the end of 2010 reached 135 MW with fully automated state
of the art 3S production lines with further expansion plan up to 200MW in 2011.
The main production focus is the on-grid modules range from 175-300Wp.
Our
first Spire semi-automated line is being used for the production of off-grid
modules starting at 10Wp.
Today
EMMVEE has prominent market share in the PV industry across Europe, in
countries like Germany, Italy, France and United Kingdom.
In
India, EMMVEE specializes in distributing photovoltaic modules for on- and
off-grid applications as well as standard and customized photovoltaic systems
for stand-alone and especially roof top applications.
We
also undertake design, supply, installation and provide after sales service for
PV and Hybrid Systems as per site and customized requirements. Our product
portfolio include all off-grid AC/DC Home Lighting Systems, LED/CFL Street
Lights as per MNRE Specification-ETDC certified, Solar Hybrid Power Pack Systems,
Water Pumping Systems for agricultural purpose and customized solutions for the
Telecom Industry.
All
our produced photovoltaic modules and systems have been successfully connected
and generate high yield to our customers worldwide.
EMMVEE utilize only the best components to reach the
highest degree of efficiency and reliability. We have achieved a further
increase in effectiveness by using as the first company a special patterned
surface glass which reflects the incident light multiple times onto the cells
(light trap effect) and increases the efficiency at least 3% compared to a flat
glass. The Institute for Solar Energy Research Hameln in Germany documented the
efficiency gain. These glasses show as well a low level of contamination from
dirt particles and other object, resulting in high yield when compared to
modules with flat glasses.
EMMVEE under JNNSM, Jawaharlal Nehru
National Solar Mission
Under JNNSM, Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission, MNRE has
announced the subsidy scheme for the rooftop stand-alone and on-grid systems
from size of 1kW to 100kW. Additionally the Solar Water Heaters scheme was
released in Karnataka and others majors States offering 30% subsidy to eligible
beneficiaries upfront by EMMVEE. EMMVEE Solar Systems Pvt. Ltd. and EMMVEE
Photovoltaic Power Pvt. Ltd. were both accredited as channel partner. CRISIL
awarded 1 A rating to EMMVEE.
EMMVEE Toughened Glass
The state of the art Glass Toughening facility is catering
the solar thermal and photovoltaic in-house production as well as to sectors
like construction, architecture, furniture and engineering industry in
Bangalore.

EMMVEE Quality Management
Our PV modules are certified by TÜV as per IEC 61215, IEC
61730(Part 1 and 2) and IEC 61701 as well as by UL, Underwriters Laboratories,
for the North America market. Our PV modules are also accredited by MCS,
Microgeneration Certification Scheme in the United Kingdom, and are registered
with the Clean Energy Council in Australia.
Additionally our products have been tested and approved by
ETDC/CPRI/MNRE/State Nodal Agencies in India to ensure that the customers are
given the products of the highest quality.
Both
our production facilities are certified by ISO 9001:2008 for quality management
systems and ISO: 14001 for Environment Management Systems.
EMMVEE Awards
EMMVEE Photovoltaic Power Pvt. Ltd. has received India’s biggest SMEs business
award, the Emerging India Award 2010 presented by ICICI and CNBC TV 18 in
December 2010 as the best performer in the Power and Telecommunication Sector.
EMMVEE was awarded the second
prize by MNRE for Solar Water Heater Manufacturers (2002-2007) presented
by Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Honorable
President of India as well as the SESI –Business Leadership Award (2008) presented
by Mr. S. Raghupathy, Honorable Minister for State Environment and Forest.
On 15th of June 2011 we have received
the “Best Manufacturer Exporter Award 2011” in the Large Category-Gold,
felicitated by Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industry on
15th of June 2011.
